JJEEP Policy
JJEEP's policy efforts include annually providing the Florida Department of Education with policy recommendations based upon research and program performance. JJEEP also disseminates federal and state requirements and information relating to juvenile justice education to school districts and juvenile justice education programs.
In addition, JJEEP staff is involved in numerous state committees including, the Department of Education and Department of Juvenile Justice interagency committee, career and technical education development committee, and the uniform entry-exit assessment committee. These various committees provide a forum where JJEEP can provide information and data to state agencies, school districts, providers, and the legislature to assist them in confronting new requirements, crafting new policy, and meeting federal and state data reporting requirements.
