QA Review Scheduling

QA Review Scheduling

Educational QA reviews are scheduled from late July to late May and are conducted with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) QA reviewers when possible.

During November of each year, the program administrators of each of DJJ’s five regions meet with their staff and develop a proposed QA review schedule for the coming year. The first week in December the DJJ program administrators meet in Tallahassee to develop a finalized schedule for the coming review cycle. The JJEEP QA Review Director meets with the DJJ program administrators to coordinate QA reviews in order to insure that both teams will collaborate as much as possible. When it is not possible for the JJEEP and DJJ QA reviewers to be on-site on the same dates, the lead reviewers will communicate by phone and fax.

Beginning in July of 2007, educational QA reviews will be conducted following a more traditional school year schedule (late July to May). DJJ reviews will continue to be conducted from late January through October. Reviewers will be scheduled for a specific time period at each program based upon program size. Larger programs may require a longer review and more than one reviewer.
