Hotel Reservations

For hotel reservations call the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina at 888-644-7569 or 800-228-9290. Mention the Juvenile Justice Education Institute and Southern Conference on Corrections to secure the conference rate of $115 per night. To reserve the rate of $115, make your reservation by June 29. This rate is also available for the three before and after the conference.

Register on-line

On-line registration is available at: http://learningforlife.fsu.edu/cpd/courseSchedule.cfm?s_mstr_seq_num=8263. Participants and presenters should select "Participant Registration" to add to cart. Payment options include credit card, checks, and purchase orders. Register by June 16 for $85. After June 16, for $100.

Continuing Education Units (CEU's)

Florida State University CEU's are available on the registration website. For the cost of $25.00 you will earn 2.5 units. If interested, add CEU's to cart.

Exhibitors

Exhibitors may register online at: http://learningforlife.fsu.edu/cpd/courseSchedule.cfm?s_mstr_seq_num=8263. Registration fees are $350. Exhibitors should select "Vendor Registration" to add to cart. Exhibitors will be located in the conference's main reception area where a six foot table and two chairs will be provided for each vendor. There are 20 exhibitor slots available. If you are interested in sponsoring a door prize, contact George Pesta at gpesta@fsu.edu.

Call for Presentations

DOE and FSU are soliciting presenters for workshops and panels that address research, policy, and practice in the areas of corrections, juvenile justice, and education.

The Juvenile Justice Education Institute and Southern Conference on Corrections has extended the deadline on the call for presentations. To be considered as a presenter, abstracts are due no later than May 16th.
